Jim Hadden, Founder/Listing SpecialistJim Hadden got hooked on real estate when a 2005 internship introduced him to the fix-and-flip market. Having just graduated from the University of Georgia, he initially pursued his real estate license in an effort to find more potential investment deals. Today, Jim is an active investor who has grown his own property portfolio to include many single-family rental homes. He enjoys mentoring local investors and training agents in his market center. In 2010, Jim began building a team of well-trained Listing Experts and Buyer’s Specialists who serve traditional resale clients as well as institutional and private investors. He established Jim Hadden Home Sales in 2016 and joined the RE/MAX Reinvented office in early 2017. Since then, Jim Hadden Home Sales has quickly has grown to become the most successful real estate team in the CSRA in the state of Georgia. Jim is truly passionate about helping others achieve financial freedom by building wealth through real-estate investments. Philanthropy is one of his top priorities, and his team is continually volunteering and holding fundraisers for various charities in the CSRA. In 2016, Jim also founded the Jim Hadden Real Estate Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to provide home mortgage assistance to help those undergoing cancer treatment and their families. When he is not mentoring agents and investors or meeting with clients, he enjoys attending sporting events (Go Dawgs!) and reading (favorite authors include John Maxwell, Gary Vaynerchuk and Robert Kiyosaki). Jim resides in Augusta, Ga. with his wife and their two children.
Vicky Matson, Lead Buyer’s Specialist
Vicky has been a licensed realtor in both Georgia and South Carolina since 2005 and was a founding member of Jim Hadden Home Sales. Prior to beginning her career in real estate, Vicky spent 10 years running her own cleaning business. With her friendly disposition and quick sense of humor, she brings convivial leadership to our team of buyer’s agents. Originally from Philadelphia, she also lived in Florida, Arizona and Ohio before settling in Augusta. She and her husband of 28 years now have three children and two grandchildren. Vicky loves Augusta’s small-town feel while being a vibrant community lots to do. Her favorite restaurants are Farmhaus and Abel Brown.
Wil Kacos, Lead Listing Specialist
Wil grew up as the middle child of three on St. Simons Island, Ga. He went on to attend The University of Alabama where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate in 2008. Wil began personally buying and selling real estate investments in 2011. As time passed, he realized he was having more fun and was more passionate about real estate than his previous career, so he got his license and joined Keller Williams Augusta Partners in March 2015. He joined the Hadden Team shortly thereafter in August 2015 and is now a highly effective listing specialist on our team at RE/MAX Reinvented. Wil and his lovely wife, Anne-Rutledge, recently welcomed their first child, George, in July 2016. The Kacos enjoy living in Augusta because it’s big enough to present professional growth opportunities and provide a vibrant entertainment scene while being small enough to run into people you know when you’re out and about and not feel lost in the shuffle. Their favorite spots include Oliviana, Sheehan’s, Tako Sushi and Farmhaus. When he’s not selling houses, Wil loves spending time outdoors with his family and black lab, Jamma; wing-shooting with friends (especially waterfowl); and watching college football.

Cherise d’Abadie, Listing Specialist
Surely one of the most colorful members of our team is Cherise d’Abadie, who came to us all the way from Trinidad and Tobago. She is the older sibling and the first girl in a 15-member tribe of largely male cousins. Before moving to the US, Cherise was lucky and just crazy enough to work in film and video production for 17 years with great corporate clients like Coca-Cola Company and creative talents like Rihanna. She also spent a couple of years anchoring the news and various live television broadcasts. At a bar on her native Caribbean island, she met her Canadian husband, who now refers to her as his favorite souvenir. His job transferred the two to Houston in 2010, then to Chicago in 2011, and most recently to Augusta, where Cherise says they are loving this giant-hearted, small(ish) Southern town. She joined Jim Hadden’s team in July 2016. Her hobbies include DIY-ing anything in her North Augusta home, (“Home Depot is sacred ground, y’all”), reading, learning, traveling, browsing antique and second-hand shops, and practicing her Southern drawl, not to mention she’s one of the most passionate real estate agents you’ll find! “It’s not work when you love what you do,” she says. Some of her favorite, must-visit spots are the Saturday Market in downtown Augusta, Craft and Vine, Somewhere in Augusta for Comedy Night, the antique stores in downtown Aiken, Aiken Brewing Company and Whisky Bar for those delicious 1916s.

Brandy Sutton, Buyer’s Specialist
Brandy was born and raised in Central Oregon. She got her real estate license in 2005 and started her career as a licensed assistant at Prudential High Desert Realty in Bend, Ore. In 2006, she went into sales with a small-town real estate company in Hermiston, Ore., a company she purchased just a year later when she also obtained her principle broker’s license. When the market crashed in 2010, she transitioned to Century 21 where she served as the REO broker for all the major REO players in three counties: Bank of America, Fannie Mae, Chase and Wells Fargo. In 2013, Brandy and her family relocated to the CSRA, and she joined Keller Willams. They now have three grown children – a son, Dallas, who is a police officer in Oregon; and two daughters, Megan and Chicago, who both live in Stapleton, Ga. – as well as two beautiful grandchildren, Alex and Sophia. Brandy’s favorite things about living in the CSRA are the weather and the proximity to the Savannah River. She loves being a realtor because “it is not about just houses or even just people, it is about finding the right home for the right person – finding your heart and home in the CSRA.”
